UFC makes Brazilian official and four more fights for New York

The UFC has officially announced five fights that will make up the schedule for the historic UFC 205, an event that will mark the organization's debut in New York (USA). One of the confirmed ones is Rafael Sapo, who has a middleweight duel against Tim Boetsch.

Sapo, 33 years old, has lived in New York since 2008. His first fight in the UFC was two years later, and since then, the Minas Gerais native has accumulated nine wins, five losses and one draw. His last fight was in April, when he lost to Robert whittaker in the judges' decision.

PUBLICITY:

Boetsch had his first UFC fight in 2008 and is in his second stint with the organization. The “Bárbaro” is going through a difficult phase, with three defeats in his last four fights.

The other fights officially announced for UFC 205 are: Frankie Edgar x Jeremy Stephens (feathers), Donald Cerrone x Kelvin Gastelum (welterweight), Liz Carmouche x Katlyn chookagian (cocks) and Rashad evans x Tim Kennedy (middleweight).

PUBLICITY:

Some other fights already announced have not yet received official confirmation, such as Stephen Thompson x Tyron woodley, Chris Weidman x Yoel romero e Jim Miller x Thiago Pitbull. The UFC promises to release the complete list of fights for UFC 205 by next Tuesday (27), when a press conference will be held with the main stars of the show.
