Bisping bets on Ronaldo Jacaré to win against Rockhold

The “loudmouth” side of Michael Lisping showed up again. With just over two weeks to go until he makes his first defense as UFC middleweight champion, against Dan Henderson, on October 8th, in Manchester (ING), the European criticized two important names in the under-84kg division: Luke Rockhold e Chris Weidman.

'It's embarrassing to see Bisping as champion,' says Weidman

Through a text published on his blog on the website 'Champions.co' (USA) on Tuesday night (20), Bisping provoked Rockhold by saying that he exposed the weaknesses of his rival, whom he knocked out last June, when he won the category belt. As a bonus, he said that the North American will not be able to win Ronaldo Jacare in his next appointment, which takes place on November 26th in Melbourne, Australia.

“Seriously, I think Jacaré wins. I don't think Rockhold will ever be the same again. I think I exposed him, to be honest. I think I exposed his chin, for sure. If Jacaré stands in front of him, he can definitely catch him. Vitor caught it, I caught it, and Jacaré can catch it too. Rockhold is good, don't get me wrong. He has great kicks and really, really good jiu-jitsu, but he doesn't have very good hands. If you can handle the kicks and get close to him, you can catch him,” Michael wrote.

Another target of the English fighter was Chris Weidman, who recently declared that it is 'disgraceful' that Bisping is the current middleweight champion. “I think Chris is actually embarrassed that I knocked out a guy who overpowered him and beat him up. He should be ashamed that, as a guy who calls himself a black belt in jiu-jitsu and a very skilled wrestler, he was mounted by Rockhold, and took like 100 connected blows.”

Before finishing, he increased the tone of criticism and called Weidman 'lax', stating that the North American is always making excuses. “It’s time to Chris Weidman just shut the f*** up. He's acting like a wimp, and we all know it. Everyone is sick of him and all the mimimi. He is always feeling sorry for himself and making excuses. Stop being soft, Chris. Go back to the cage, win a fight and then maybe we can talk”, concluded Bisping.
