“My mission in 2011 is to get into the top 10,” Stann told the official UFC website. “If I beat Jorge Santiago, I will be among the 10, since he (Jorge Santiago) is among the six best in the world”, added the athlete, who has already outlined his future goals. “All I want is to see myself next year: 2012 is the year I want to fight for the title”, said the fighter.

But despite showing confidence for the fight and already dreaming of the organization's belt, currently in a pose of Anderson Silva, Stann recognizes Jorge Santiago's skills and is full of praise when talking about the Brazilian.

PUBLICITY:

“I am very impressed with Jorge Santiago. He is a champion, has won several titles since he first left the UFC (in 2006 Santiago was fired from the UFC after two consecutive losses),” he said. “The most impressive thing is that he always finds a way to win his fights, whether on the ground, in the clinch, by decision or through striking,” concluded Brian.

In addition to Jorge Santiago, UFC 130 features three more Brazilians in action on the fight program: Renan Barão faces Cole Escovedo, Thiago “Pitbull” Alves faces Rick Story, and compatriots Rafaello “Trator” and Gleison Tibau will square off in the octagon that will be set up at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
