The Brazilian Murilo “Ninja” Rua Today (21) he will have the opportunity to win the second belt of his professional career. The fighter will be in action at BAMMA 6 when he disputes for the organization's middleweight belt against the Englishman Tom Watson, current category champion. The confrontation will take place in London and will mark the Brazilian athlete's debut in 2011.
Ninja is coming off a defeat to Englishman Roy Boughton via unanimous decision by the judges at W-1 MMA 6 – New Ground, an event held last October in Terra da Rainha. Watson defeated his compatriot Alex Reid in his last engagement, also by unanimous decision of the judges, last September at BAMMA 4.
“I'm very happy to fight in England, because I love this country. I’m well trained and ready for tonight’s clash,” Ninja said at the pre-event press conference.
