Rick story is scheduled to face the Brazilian Thiago "Pitbull" Alves at UFC 130, an event that takes place on the 28th, in Las Vegas. Coming from five consecutive victories in the organization, “Horror”, as the North American is known, stated, in an interview with the UFC's official website, that the confrontation against the athlete from Ceará is perfect for his fighting style.
"He (Thiago Pitbull) is a famous guy and is ranked among the 10 best in the world. I think his style is perfect for me,” said Story. Known for his game based on wrestling, the American pointed out Pitbull's defeats to Georges St Pierre and Jon Fitch, specialists in the same sport, to ensure that their style will predominate in the face of the Brazilian's well-rounded striking game.
“Let's be realistic, against great wrestlers, he disappeared and that's something we want to look for. The proof is in his fight against Jon Fitch, who is a great wrestler. I don’t think there’s anything more to say,” said Rick, who complains about being underestimated by Pitbull.
“Let him (underestimate me). The Pitbull will receive a cold water bath. He better hope to knock me out quickly, because otherwise, he'll find himself in a war he didn't expect”, concluded Story.
Besides Thiago Pitbull, UFC 130, brings three more Brazilians into action: Jorge Santiago faces Brian Stann, Gleison Tibau faces Bart Palaszewski and Renan Barão will face Cole Escovedo.
