The UFC organization offered a bonus of US$5 (around R$8) to athletes who make the best use of Twitter, and it seems that the fighters liked the promotion. This week, welterweights Jake Shields e B.J. Penn They exchanged provocations on the microblog and even considered a fight request for Dana White, president of the UFC.

“I would never challenge one of Cesar Gracie's guys (a Brazilian who is Shields' coach), but you've been challenging me for years. Lets do this! I will contact Dana (White),” Penn posted on his Twitter page. Shields, on the other hand, did not shy away from the confrontation and stated that he wants to face the Hawaiian in a five-round fight.

“Better yet, we’re going to do the first five-round fight without the belt,” Jake said on his microblog account. BJ ended the discussion with yet another provocation. “If it makes you feel more confident, sure, let’s do it,” BJ concluded.
