UFC welterweight division fighter, Jorge masvidal disapproved of the organization's attitude in canceling its fight against Kelvin Gastelum to find a replacement to face Donald Cerrone at UFC 205, an event that will take place on November 12 in New York (USA).

Originally, Cerrone was going to face Robbie Lawler, but the former champion was unable to participate in the duel. Thus, the UFC removed Gastelum from the fight he would have against Masvidal to cast him against the “Caubói”.

Without an opponent, Masvidal said he was devastated by the UFC's decision. “It really broke my heart. We both signed a contract to fight, but I found out that they are going to put Gastelum up against 'Caubói'. This is crazy, because it's happened to me three times. My opponents always end up leaving the fight for some reason. So, it breaks my heart”, lamented the fighter, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Masvidal, 31, has already had four fights in the UFC's 77 kg division, with two wins and two losses. One of his triumphs was against the TUF Brazil 1 champion, Cezar Mutant, with a knockout in July 2015.
