Rodrigo Minotauro He is one of the biggest Brazilian names in the history of MMA. Tipped to be on the UFC Rio fight program, the black belt had already told the SUPER FIGHTS, during the UFC Fan Expo, in Canada, who would test himself to measure his fighting condition, as he is recovering from a series of rib and knee surgeries (remember here). Now, Minotauro, who is in Espírito Santo promoting the MMA challenge, stated during this Saturday's program (14), on Globo Esporte in Espírito Santo, that he will return to the octagon in the Brazilian edition of the show.
“I'm trying to recover (from injuries) to be ready to fight at UFC Rio, on August 27th,” said Minotauro. “The biggest martial arts event is returning to Brazil after 14 years and I will be there, firm and strong. Anderson Silva will do the main fight against Yushin Okami and I want to do the co-main event (second most important fight of the night)”, added the Brazilian.
UFC 134, also called UFC Rio, is scheduled to take place on August 27th, at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio.
