Escalated to face Brock Lesnar in the main fight of UFC 131, junior gypsy his opponent was changed due to diverticulitis suffered by the former Ultimate champion. “I was a little upset about this change, but I'm happy that the UFC has another opponent for me. Carwin is an excellent fighter and deserves all my respect,” Cigano told ESPN. “His boxing skills are great. It's going to be a great fight with hard blows from both sides”, added the Brazilian.
Just like Gypsy, Shane carwin His main specialty is stand-up fighting, which makes the Brazilian believe that the duel will end in striking. “I bet she’ll end up with a knockout,” concluded Júnior.
In addition to Júnior Cigano, UFC 131, an event that takes place on June 11th in Vancouver, Canada, features two more Brazilians in action: Demian Maia face Mark Munoz and Diego Nunes will measure strength in the face of tough Kenny Florian.
