Michael Costa signs with Bellator

The Brazilian Michael costa is the newest athlete to join the Bellator Fighting Championships fighter roster. The announcement of the signing of the tough guy was made this morning (10) by the organization's directors, however, there is still no set date for the Tupiniquim athlete's debut at the event.

 

PUBLICITY:

Costa has a record of ten wins, five defeats and one draw. The welterweight had a brief spell at Sengoku between 2008 and 2009, where he was defeated on both occasions he was in action at the Japanese event. Coming off a technical knockout (punches) victory over Danny Salinas at South Texas Fighting Championships 14, which took place last November, Costa aims to leave his name in the history of Bellator.

“Everyone who has seen me fight knows that I fight with my heart and always look for the knockout. And that's how I want my time at Bellator to be remembered by fans of the event. When they talk about Bellator, I want them to talk about Michael Costa”, said the fighter.

 

PUBLICITY:

A Muay Thai instructor at Wand Fight Team, Costa is the second member of the team to sign with Bellator this month. The first was responsible for the team's Jiu-Jitsu training, Vitor vianna, who will be in action in the event's middleweight tournament. Also signed by Bellator in recent days was the former MFC welterweight champion, Douglas lima, which is expected to debut in September at the organization.
