Minotauro for Schaub: “It won’t be easy like against Cro Cop”

Rodrigo Minotauro He has been out of action since February 2010, when a serious injury forced the heavyweight to undergo delicate knee surgery. Now, fully recovered from the injury and starting his return to training, the Brazilian fighter is already planning to return to the most famous octagon in the world.

 

In conversation with SUPER FIGHTS, in Toronto, during the UFC Fan Expo, a fair promoted by Ultimate on the weekend of UFC 129, Minotauro spoke about his recovery from the injury and his desire to perform at UFC Rio.

“I am fully recovered. I'm going back to training now and super excited to compete in this UFC in Brazil, on August 28th”, said the heavyweight.

When asked about the desire to Brendan Schaub on facing him at UFC Rio, Minotaur was ironic.

 

“Some guys are interested too,” he said. “But let's see, it won't be as easy as it was against Cro Cop, because he was getting beaten by Cro Cop, and he was lucky enough to knock Cro Cop out”, added Minotauro.
