The historic edition that will mark the UFC's debut in New York (USA) has another Brazilian presence confirmed. Marcos Foot, former TUF Brasil participant, will face the local athlete Gian Villante. The event will be held on November 12th at the Madison Square Garden gym.

The fight was confirmed by the Brazilian fighter himself, who made a special post on his Facebook account. “Contract signed, next fight confirmed! On 12/11 I will face Gian Villante at UFC 205, the organization's first in New York, at Madison Square Garden. Total satisfaction to be part of this historic moment! ‘Let’s work even harder and soon there will be brutal beatings taking place in the octagon,” he wrote.
Pezão participated in the third season of the Brazilian reality show and reached the semi-finals. In the UFC, he has already had four fights, with three wins and one loss. Villante, born in New York and training partner of the former champion Chris Weidman, has been an Ultimate athlete since 2013 and has had four wins and four losses in the organization.
The main fight of UFC 205 has not yet been officially confirmed. Some combats, however, are already taken for granted, including duels between Thiago Pitbull e To the fifth.
