Little by little, the UFC 205 schedule is gaining ground, which marks the debut of the Octagon in New York (USA). Robbie Lawler, former welterweight champion of the organization, will fight against Donald Cerrone on the main card of the show, scheduled for November 12th at the Madison Square Garden gym.

The person who confirmed the fight was the UFC president himself, Dana White. In an interview with “CBS” radio in Cleveland (USA), the director assured that the fight is already certain, even with both athletes having already signed the contract.
Lawler, 34, was champion of the 77 kg division between 2014 and 2016, with successful defenses against Rory McDonald e Carlos Condit. In July, however, the North American was dethroned from his post when he was knocked out by Tyron woodley still in the first round.
Cerrone, a year younger, challenged for the lightweight division belt (70 kg) in December last year, and was run over by the then champion, Rafael dos Anjos. After that, he moved up a category and had three victories, against Alex Cowboy, Patrick Coté and Rick Story.
UFC 205 has not yet had any fight officially confirmed, but it is already known that a duel between Thiago Pitbull e To the fifth, by the lightest, is about to be announced.
