Claudinha gadelha no longer represents Nova União, the Rio academy led by Dedé Pederneiras. The fighter and the coach had been having some disagreements in recent months, and the strained relationship with the now former coach weighed on the fighter's decision to leave the team. The information is from the Combate channel website.
About four months ago, Gadelha opened her own team – Claudia gadelha's MMA & BJJ Academy – in Pennsylvania, United States, in partnership with a partner, and must continue training at the North American academy.

The bad atmosphere between the two would have started after Claudinha's defeat to Joanna Jedrzejczyk, July 8th, at the TUF 23 Finale. The Brazilian would not have liked the treatment she received during the camp, including training during its preparation. Pederneiras did not like the complaints and there were some disagreements between them.
However, it has not yet been decided where she will camp for her next fight, which does not yet have a date set. There is the possibility of her training in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, at Kimura Nova União – a branch of the Rio academy – which has Jair Lourenço as leader. Nova União, based in Rio de Janeiro, has athletes such as José Aldo, Thales leites, Leo Santos and other important names on the MMA scene.
