Luis “Betão” debuts with victory in Bellator

Considered as one of the main revelations of national MMA, Luis Alberto “Betão” debuted on the right foot in Bellator. In the 42nd edition of the event, held on Saturday night, in Oklahoma, the athlete from the RFT team dominated the fight against the North American Jerod Spoon and won the unanimous decision of the judges.

With an aggressive game, Betão worked good combinations of low and high kicks and hard punches on his opponent, in addition to getting some takedowns and working with overhead strikes. With an advantage in the first two rounds, the Rio fighter managed the advantage in the third round, but used the counterattack to score points and win the victory.
