With great fights Jungle Fight 27 shook the city of Brasília, on Thursday night, in celebration of the federal capital's 51st birthday. In the main fight of the night, black belt Adriano Martins gave local athlete Ronildo Braga no chance and knocked out the Brasilia native in the first round with a beautiful right cross. With the triumph, the Manaus athlete won the division's interim belt of the organization's lightweights.
In another attraction of the show, former UFC fighter, Ediberto “Crocotá” started the fight against Nielsen “Grilo” at a disadvantage. The Bahian fighter suffered a knockdown, after a counterattack, and was almost finished with a guillotine choke. In the second round, “Crocotá” came back better and with good boxing moves he knocked out “Grilo” with a blow to the temple.
Another highlight of the night was John “Mão de Pedra” Lineker, from Paraná, who, in a dominant performance, dealt a harsh punishment to Renato Velame in the stand-up fight, and after a knockdown, landed a fair rear-naked choke on his opponent and ended the fight.
