Impossible better! This is how Brazilian Felipe Silva's debut in Ultimate can be summed up. At 32 years old, the Minas Gerais native from Juiz de Fora debuted in the Octagon and needed just 73 seconds to knock out Canadian Shane Campbell and score his eighth career victory. The fight was on the preliminary card of the UFC Vancouver, an event that takes place this Saturday (27), in Canada.

The fight

His UFC debut took a while, but Felipe Silva showed that, even at 32 years old, he can still make a lot of noise in Ultimate. With a very aggressive exchange of blows, the Minas Gerais native started the fight without being intimidated by the local fans or the pressure for his debut.

Right at the beginning of the dispute, the Brazilian took control of the duel. Felipe, a Muay Thai specialist, dominated his rival's neck and landed some knees on the Canadian. Campbell still managed to get out of the clinch, but Silva continued moving forward and throwing several punches.

With a combination of crosses to the face and to the waist, Shane Campbell went to the ground. Felipe Silva took advantage of the moment, connecting a few more punches until the referee declared a technical knockout 1m13s into the fight.

'Smile' beats Muhammad Ali's son-in-law by knockout

In the fight that closed the preliminary card, Sam alvey won well. The American, who is known for smiling during his fights, repeated the recipe to beat Kevin Casey, who is the son-in-law of the legend Muhammad Ali.

After a first round without great emotions, 'Smile' returned for the second round ready to end the dispute. Like his rival's son-in-law, Alvey combined a series of blows and took Casey to the ground.
