B.J. Penn is out of UFC 132 - Photo: Disclosure
One week after Jon fitch be forced to abandon your fight against B.J. Penn at UFC 132 (remember here), this time it was the Hawaiian who canceled his participation in the event. Due to a shoulder injury, Penn will not be present in the edition scheduled for July 2nd in Las Vegas.
Penn and Fitch would rematch their fight at UFC 127, which took place in February of this year. On that occasion, after three technically balanced rounds, the judges declared the fight a majority draw. Now it is expected that the issue will take place in a next edition of Ultimate to decide who will be the next challenger for the welterweight belt.
With the cancellation of Penn's participation in UFC 132, the card for this edition is as follows:
