Glover Teixeira suffered a crushing defeat in the co-main fight of UFC 202, an event held this Saturday night (20), in Las Vegas (USA). The Brazilian succumbed in lightning fashion to Anthony Johnson and was knocked out after just 13 seconds of action.
The Minas Gerais native tried to put pressure on his opponent from the start, but Johnson took advantage of an opening to connect a upper right on the chin. Glover already fell, which represented his first defeat in the UFC without being a decision by the judges.
With the result, Johnson put himself in a prominent position to compete for the light heavyweight belt, which currently belongs to Daniel Cormier. The Brazilian now sees a streak of three consecutive victories coming to an end.
