Now it's official. Michael Bisping, UFC middleweight champion, will make his first title defense in his homeland, England, on October 8th, against Dan Henderson. The duel will be the main attraction of UFC 204, in the city of Manchester.

Bisping won the 84 kg division title in June this year, when he surprised by knocking out Luke Rockhold still in the first round. Before that, English had surpassed Anderson Silva in London, the English capital, in February. At 37 years old, Bisping has won all 17 professional MMA fights he has had in England.
Henderson, the oldest active UFC fighter at 46, is not experiencing the best moment of his career. The veteran has lost six of the last nine fights he has had. However, he received the chance to fight for the title after delivering one of Bisping's most devastating defeats, in 2009, at the historic UFC 100. On that occasion, Henderson brutalized the Englishman and knocked him out with just one punch.
The second most important fight of UFC 204 will feature Vitor belfort. In a complicated moment, with two defeats in the last three fights, the “Phenomenon” faces Gegard Mousasi, who is trying for his third consecutive victory against Brazilians – he comes from triumphs over Thales leites e Thiago Marreta.
So far, UFC 204 has three more Brazilians confirmed. Adriano Martins and Leonardo Santos have a Brazilian duel in the lightweight division, and Iuri Marajó magpie Brad pickett in the rooster category.
