the judoka Kayla harrison won her second Olympic title in the light heavyweight category (up to 78 kg), this Thursday (11), by defeating five opponents at Arena Carioca 2, in Rio de Janeiro. After the feat, the American announced her retirement from judo. But, it seems, Harrison must follow the path of his compatriot Ronda Rousey and move to MMA soon.

“I'm happy, I'm retired as a two-time Olympic champion. No matter what happens, my legacy in judo is complete,” said Harrison, visibly emotional.
After confirming that she will hang up her kimono, Kayla revealed that she has already been approached for MMA events, but did not want to confirm her future.
“You all want to know if I'm going to fight MMA, but today, I'm just going to enjoy the moment, be a two-time Olympic champion, and tomorrow I'll think about it…”, added the American with a smile on her face.
Despite not confirming the change of sport, rumors in the North American press guarantee that the blonde should follow in the footsteps of the former UFC champion – Ronda was a bronze medalist at the Beijing Games in 2008 – and debut in MMA until the beginning of 2017.
