Elder brother of Lyoto Machida, Chinzo Machida already has a specific date to make his debut in the second largest MMA organization on the planet. The Bahian based in Pará will be in action at Bellator 160, an event that will take place on August 26th, in Anaheim, California (USA). According to the “MMA Fighting” website, his opponent will be Mario Navarro.
Chinzo, who operates in the featherweight category, has a professional record of three wins and two losses. In his last two fights, at RFA, the Brazilian knocked out Brian Wood and beat Dmitry Gerasimov by judges' decision.
Navarro has a record of four wins and four losses. He has already had three fights in Bellator, with a victory in his debut and two setbacks in a row, against Cleber Luciano and Brandon Bender.
The main fight of Bellator 160 will also feature a Brazilian. Patrick Pitbull faces former UFC champion in the lightweight division Ben henderson. Additionally, the event will mark the professional debut of Kevin Ferguson Jr, eldest son of the late Kimbo Slice.
