Japan suffered an 8,9 magnitude earthquake in the early hours of Friday, one of the largest in the history of the Japanese country. With what happened, the fighting world also feels the consequences of the tragedy. This weekend, five MMA events were scheduled in the country, and some announced cancellations. Shooto, Jewels and Pancrase have already announced the postponement of their respective shows, and none of the promotions have announced the new production date.
The only events that had not yet taken place until this Friday afternoon (11) were Heat and Tribelate, the latter of which was scheduled to take place this Saturday (12) in Tokyo, one of the cities most affected by the tremor.
