Cris Cyborg will make the main fight at UFC Brasília

The Brazilian Chris Cyborg will be the main star of UFC Fight Night Brasília, an event that takes place on September 24th, in the federal capital. The Paraná native will face Swedish Lina Lansberg in the main fight of the show. The opponent from Paraná will make her debut in the octagon.

The duel between Cyborg and Lansberg will be contested at a combined weight of 63,5 kg, between the limits of the bantamweight (61,2 kg) and featherweight (65,7 kg) categories.

The appearance in UFC Brasilia it will be Cris' second in the UFC. In her debut in the Octagon, the Brazilian – considered the greatest MMA fighter in history – ran over Leslie Smith and won by knockout in just 81 seconds.

In addition to the main attraction, UFC Fight Night Brasília also had its second most important fight this Wednesday (03). Former bantamweight champion Renan Barao tries to find its way back to victories in the featherweight division against Philippe Nover.

After difficulties in reaching the bantamweight limit, Barão moved up to the featherweight category and in his first appearance he was surpassed by Jeremy Stephensin May.
