The 41-year-old Croatian was seen running from one side to the other at Frankfurt airport, Germany, while chasing the little monsters with his cell phone in hand. The veteran seemed to have difficulty capturing his Pokémon, which caused laughter from his friends who were filming the scene.
Cro Cop was connecting in Germany to reach Japan, where he was announced as a member of Rizin's new GP. During the press conference in the Land of the Rising Sun, the Croatian joked: “I was hunting Pokémon and ended up in Japan. I was chasing them and met Sakakibara-San [president of Rizin], who brought me here and He gave me a suit and shoes,” he said.
The veteran has a record of 31 wins, 11 losses, two draws and one no-contest in professional MMA. It was precisely in Japan that Cro Cop achieved the greatest success in his career, which includes victory in the PRIDE Absolute GP in 2006.
