After flirting with retirement in his last fight, Urijah faber confirmed his return to the octagon. It will be at UFC 203, on September 10th, in Cleveland (USA), facing the dangerous Jimmie rivera.
In his most recent fight, Faber was defeated by his arch-rival Dominick Cruz in the judges' decision. After wasting another chance to finally become UFC champion, the “California Kid” even considered the possibility of hanging up his gloves.
At 37 years old, Faber is considered one of the most popular athletes in the lighter UFC categories. Rivera, ten years younger, won his three fights in the UFC, against Marcus Brimage, Peter Munhoz e Iuri Marajó.
UFC 203 will have as its main fight the duel between Stipe Miocic e alistair overeem, valid for the heavyweight belt. On the same night, Fabricio Werdum catches Ben Rothwell, and CM Punk debuts in MMA against Mickey gall.
