O Jungle Fight performs, this Saturday (19), in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, the twenty-fifth edition of his show. The event, which opens the organization's 2011 season, features as its main attraction the fight between welterweights Edilberto Crocotá and Sérgio Júnior, who drew in the Jungle Fight 24, carried out in December 2010.
“I don't call the fight between Crocotá and Sérgio a rematch, but rather a fight. It will be another great event showing the strength of the sport and also that we support other sports besides MMA. We will present a fight for the Latin American boxing title”, says Wallid Ismail, organizer of Jungle. The title fight will be between Brazilian Luciano “Olho de Tigre” and Elvin Perez, from Nicaragua.
In addition to the fight between Crocotá and Sérgio Júnior, and the boxing title dispute, the Jungle Fight 25 features well-known names from national MMA such as: Renato Moicano, Ednaldo Lula, and the long-awaited fight between Rodrigo Damm and Francisco Massaranbuda.
