According to the website 'The OC Registrar', Miller was seen arguing with the two women inside the establishment, when one of the women involved slapped the athlete in the face. Miller promptly reacted by pulling the attacker and trying to throw a punch, but was knocked down, immobilized and handcuffed by the security guards before hitting the attacker.

Shortly after 'Mayhem' was immobilized, Costa Mesa police were called to the scene. The athlete was arrested by officers, but before entering the police vehicle, he spat in the face of Sergeant Dan Miles. Before arriving at the police station, Miller was taken to the hospital to be treated for facial injuries suffered during the immobilization carried out by the bar's security guards. He was released on Sunday night (10), but will have to appear in court on August 8.

The fighter's past with the police is not good. In 2015, 'Mayhem' Miller was arrested twice for assault. This year, the athlete was also arrested on two occasions. In February, the athlete was arrested in the city of Irvine, California, for driving under the influence of alcohol. In March, he was arrested for vandalizing a tattoo shop in Orange County, California.

He returned to MMA in May after four years of inactivity, facing Mattia Schiavolin at Venator FC 3, but ended up being submitted in the second round. With 23 wins, 10 losses and one 'No-Contest' in his career, Jason 'Mayhem' Miller has already beaten names like Tim Kennedy, Kazushi Sakuraba and the current UFC welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler.
