Ronaldo Jacaré's coach criticizes Bisping: 'He ran away from the fight with Jacaré'

Even in third place among middleweights in the UFC rankings, the Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare will have to wait even longer for an opportunity to fight for the belt, as the organization chose the legendary veteran Dan Henderson to face the champion Michael Bisping in a rematch between the two. The decision pleased not only the athlete, but also his coach, who criticized the Englishman and the Ultimate ranking.

In an interview with the website 'Portal do Vale Tudo', the leader of the X-Gym gym and Jacaré's trainer, Josuel Distak, harshly criticized the organization's current fighter ranking system, in addition to accusing the new middleweight champion. Michael Bisping to flee from a confrontation with Jacaré.

“I don’t think it was the fault of the Dan Henderson nor Dana White, but Dana could impose that and put Jacaré to fight for the belt. But the belt is in the United Kingdom with Bisping, who must have asked for this fight, as he didn't want a tough fight. In reality he may be deceiving himself, because the Dan Henderson it's not silly. Between Jacaré and Dan Henderson, he thought it was better Dan Henderson. What has been proven is that we know that the (UFC) ranking does not exist. Can't the first one in the ranking fight for the belt? Whoever fights for the belt wants it? I think the best argument was this: Bisping ran away from the fight with Jacaré and asked for the Dan Henderson, but we're coming after you. We’re going to get you,” she snapped.

With a record of 23 wins, four losses and one 'No-Contest', Ronaldo Jacare comes from four victories in his last five fights, having only been defeated by the Cuban Yoel romero. His most recent fight was against Vitor belfort, where Jacaré won by technical knockout at UFC 198 in a great performance.
