The UFC is very close to defining the first challenger for Michael Bisping for the middleweight belt. And, to the sadness of Ronaldo Jacare, who was waiting for the long-awaited opportunity, the name chosen should be that of Dan Henderson, as revealed by the organization's president, Dana White.

White said that plans for the fight are close to being finalized for the current champion's homeland. "Let's do it Dan Henderson against Michael Bisping. It's a fight that the champion wants, it's a fight that the fans want. We are thinking about holding it in Manchester, England, but nothing has been signed yet”, commented the director, in an interview with the North American channel “FOX Sports”.

Henderson and Bisping faced each other in the historic UFC 100 event, in 2009. On that occasion, the American delivered one of the toughest knockouts ever seen in the sport. The two athletes are coming off a victory at UFC 199, in June: Henderson beat Hector Lombard, and Bisping knocked out Luke Rockhold to win the title.

If the fight goes ahead, Jacaré will have to wait for another opportunity to fight for the title. The Brazilian, who hit Vitor belfort in May, he expected to be next in line for the belt.
