UFC 'forgets' about Ronaldo Jacaré and should select Hendo to challenge Bisping's belt

The UFC middleweight division is about to undergo a huge upheaval. After a major campaign on social media, the veteran Dan Henderson is close to being the first challenger for the belt Michael Bisping. The fight is not yet official, but the organization has already forwarded the agreement and the announcement should be made in the next few days.

Henderson's surprising choice bypasses the Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare, who was the main candidate for the title fight. In addition to Anderson Silva, the greatest fighter in middleweight history, and who called for a rematch against Bisping via social media.

Hendo, 46, is in the final phase of his career. He is currently only 13th in the middleweight rankings and has six defeats in his last nine fights in the UFC. Furthermore, the middleweight has not managed to score two consecutive victories since 2011.

Despite the bad record, the choice of Henderson has a special reason. He and Bisping have a huge rivalry. In the 100th edition of the UFC, in 2009, Hendo beat the Englishman in one of the most brutal knockouts in the organization's history.
