Hominick says: “Aldo has never faced a changer like me”

Mark hominick confirmed last Saturday (22) that he could be the next challenger for the UFC featherweight title. The Canadian was in action at UFC Fight Night 23 and was not aware of George roop, knocking out his opponent in just over a minute of fighting. With the triumph, Hominick becomes the most likely opponent to face the Brazilian José Aldo, in the event's title fight. The duel is scheduled to take place at UFC-129, an event scheduled for April 30th in Toronto, Canada. Shortly after the victory over Roop, Mark commented on his expectations to face the Brazilian athlete and guarantees that Aldo has never faced anyone with his striking.

“Nothing against José Aldo. I think he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, a guy who has fantastic knockout power,” he said. “But he has never faced someone with my striking ability. Let’s see how he behaves with me”, he added. Hominick also stated that the Brazilian will not have the advantages found in his last performances against him.
