Ultimate announced last Tuesday that it would broadcast two fights from UFC Fight Night 23, an event taking place today in Texas, via Facebook (remember here), but due to the great success of the initiative, the organization changed its plans. UFC president Dana White announced, through an official statement, a few hours before the start of the show, that four fights will be broadcast via the social network.
“Forget what we said before about broadcasting two free preliminaries via Facebook. We will broadcast four from 22 pm (Brasília time)”, said the statement.
With this, the fights involving two Brazilians Willamy Chiquerim against Waylon Lowe and Rani Yaya facing Mike Brown joins the clashes of DaMarques Johnson versus Mike Guymon and McKenzie Cody facing Yves Edwards.
