Since losing quickly to Conor McGregor, in December last year, José Aldo He can't get one thing off his mind: he wants, no matter what, a rematch against the Irishman. To achieve it, the Brazilian is even willing to make a change of category, something he has never done in his UFC career.

McGregor won the featherweight title (66 kg) against Aldo, but has yet to defend the belt. The Irishman had a super fight at welterweight (77 kg), against Nate diaz, and, despite the defeat, he really celebrated the fact that he had a healthier preparation without cutting weight.
Therefore, many are betting that McGregor will hardly return to featherweight to defend the belt – which wouldn't be a problem for Aldo. “We go up, the UFC will do it! There is no way to. Regardless of weight, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to get in there and we can fight”, said the Brazilian, in a press conference reproduced on the website of the “Combate” channel.
But, if he changes weight and still doesn't get the rematch he's dreamed of, Aldo suggested an alternative. “Ah, we catch him on the street”, he laughed. “Anyway, we fight in this s***. But there's no way, only if he stops fighting. As long as he's in the UFC, this will happen. I will be champion again and we will have to fight again.”
Aldo returns to the octagon at UFC 200, on July 9, when he faces Frankie Edgar for the interim featherweight belt. McGregor will fight on August 20th, also at welterweight, in a rematch against Nate diaz.
