UFC lightweight fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov was the target of criticism from his followers on social media after posting a photo with terrible timing, moments after the attack on a nightclub in Orlando (USA). The Russian published an image of himself as a teenager, in which he holds a revolver, with the caption “rogue gangster at 15 years old”.

Nurmagomedov received criticism not only for the image itself, but for the fact that the post took place shortly after the attack last Sunday (12). On that occasion, a sniper entered the place and shot at the visitors, resulting in more than 50 fatalities.

The Russian, undefeated in professional MMA, occupies first place in the lightweight category ranking. His last fight took place in April this year, when he beat Darrell Horcher by technical knockout. As he is Muslim, Nurmagomedov is expected to return to the octagon only at the end of the year, as he is now going through Ramadan.
