UFC president Dana White had already declared, at the end of last year, that he would vote for the then pre-candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump. Now, with the tycoon's confirmation as the Republican Party's candidate for the White House, Trump himself said he has White's support.

According to the New York Times, Trump wants a different approach during the Republican Party National Convention, scheduled for July, in Cleveland (USA). To do this, the candidate would call on personalities from other sectors, mainly sports, for speeches, instead of politicians and people linked to Washington.

“Dana White, do you know Dana White? The UFC guy is a champion. They are champions. He is not like politicians, who will stand up, speak, speak and speak”, Trump reportedly told his supporters, according to the “NYT”.

If she joins Trump's campaign, Dana White will join a list of celebrities who have already declared their support for the Republican candidate and includes names such as: the former boxer Mike Tyson, former baseball star Pete Rose, former bodybuilder and interpreter of the character “Hulk” Lou Ferrigno, former basketball player Dennis Rodman, among others.
