WEC Lightweight Champion, Anthony Pettis announced at the beginning of the week that he would not wait for the winner of the confrontation between Frankie Edgar e Gray Maynard to fight for the UFC belt (remember here). Now, the North American must return to the octagon and make his Ultimate debut in front of a quarry. According to several international vehicles, Pettis will face his compatriot Clay guida.
“It’s a fight we’re working on,” UFC president Dana White said of the matchup.
The duel between Guida and Pettis does not yet have a date to take place, but according to the North American website MMA Junkiel, the fight should be on the UFC-130 card, an event scheduled to take place on May 28, in Las Vegas or at UFC- 131, which will be held June 11, in Canada.
