Businessman guarantees that Sonnen will be UFC champion

Chael Sonnen has gone through a marathon of problems in recent months. After failing an anti-doping test and being suspended by the Athletic Commission, the fighter is investigated for money laundering in North American territory (remember here). With this marathon of problems, UFC president, Dana White, announced that Chael's contract with the organization was suspended. However, even with the difficulties, the athlete's manager, Mike Roberts, claims that his client will be back soon and will win the UFC middleweight belt.

“Sonnen was never suspended, Dana just thought it would be in Chael's best interest to sort out all the issues in his personal life so that when he returns he only thinks about fighting. I hope he returns this year, but only time will tell”, commented Mike

“His (Sonnen) career is far from over. I can guarantee that he will come back better and get that belt”, he said.

Sonnen's suspension with the Athletic Commission ends in February, but the money laundering trial will take place in March.
