After challenging Obama, UFC fighter is interrogated by police

the american Jacob Volkman went through an unusual situation this Wednesday. The fighter, who defeated Anthony McKee at UFC-125, he stated after the triumph that he wanted to return to the octagon in front of President Barack Obama, as he did not agree with his way of governing the country. The joke earned the fighter an interrogation from the North American secret police. In an interview with MMA Weekly, Volkmann commented on the incident:

“I was training when two guys came to visit me at training. I went out to see what it was and he introduced himself as a member of the United States Secret Service and wanted to ask some questions about what he said after my victory at UFC 125,” he stated.

“He (police officer) said that people called the capital to say that I was threatening the president. He had my entire interview on paper and even a photo. He wanted to know if that was exactly what I said. And I said yes,” he added.

After arriving home, the fighter noticed that his email box contained several messages criticizing his game.

“When I got home, I looked at my emails. There were about 20 and one of them belonged to a lady, who said she was going to report me,” said Jacob, who stated that the police understood that it was all just a joke.
