According to the respected American website, Sherdog, the former UFC champion, Tito Ortiz, confirmed the confrontation against the Brazilian Lyoto Machida at UFC 85, which takes place on May 24th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas, United States.
Machida, who is highlighted in the United States after 4 big victories in Ultimate, the last being a submission over Rameau Sokoudjou at UFC-79, will most likely have his last step to challenge the champion of the UFC light heavyweight category. On the other hand, Tito Ortiz made just one performance in 2007, when he tied with Rashad evans at UFC-73, in July.
