The light heavyweight Brandon vera is no longer part of the UFC fighter roster. The athlete was fired today (06) from the organization after suffering his third consecutive defeat in his career after being surpassed by the Brazilian Thiago Silva, last Saturday, at UFC 125 (remember here).
Vera was in action in the UFC on 13 occasions, recording seven wins and six losses in the organization. The fighter was undefeated in his first five fights at the event, in which he faced renowned athletes such as Randy Couture, Tim sylvia e Frank mir. However, “The Truth” was unable to repeat the performances at the beginning of his career in the UFC, interspersing successes and failures in the last two years.
Currently 33 years old, Vera has a record of 11 wins and six losses, with the title of WEC heavyweight GP champion, won in the 13th edition of the now defunct event, as the main asset of his career.
