The last few months have been notable as those with the highest number of belt changes in the history of the organization. The most recent change in the list of champions took place in the main fight of UFC 199, with Michael Bisping dispatching Luke Rockhold.
Summoned in a hurry to save the event, after the injury of Chris Weidman two weeks before the fight, Bisping took no notice of Rockhold and knocked out his rival, to whom he had already been defeated in the past, in the first round.
