Junior Gypsy will have to wait a little longer for the chance to fight for the UFC heavyweight belt. The duel against Cain Velazquez was scheduled for the first half of 2011, but the current champion suffered a shoulder injury and has been away from training for up to eight months.
According to Ed Soares, Cigano's manager, in an interview with the North American website MMA Weekly, the Brazilian will not wait for Velasquez and will fight before fighting for the belt.
