Current UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velazquez will defend his belt against the Brazilian junior gypsy in 2011. The Tupiniquim athlete, who is known for his refined boxing, will not have an advantage in the stand-up fight, at least that's what Dave Camarillo, leader of the American Kickboxing Academy and the champion's coach, says. In an interview with the North American website Pro MMA Now, the AKA commander stated that his pupil will be prepared to defend his title against the Brazilian.

“Cain will be ready to fight anywhere (standing or on the ground). Honestly, I think Cain is a better striker than him [ Junior Gypsy]. Cigano has shown strength and is dangerous, but you can count on Velasquez to be ready,” he said.
