Magomedov reported noticing a strange movement in the water moments before seeing that it was a child. The fighter, accompanied by two other people, took the boy out of the area and saved his life.
“He swallowed a lot of water and became very heavy, so I couldn't pick him up alone. When we got him out of the water, we started trying to resuscitate him. I did cardiac massage until the time came when he woke up and spat out the water he had swallowed. Thank God everything was fine. Honestly, we didn't even know if we were doing the procedures correctly, but, in the end, he survived”, said the fighter, in an interview with the website “Cageside”.
Magomedov, 32 years old, has recently been gaining ground within the lightweight category. He has four wins in four fights in the UFC, including triumphs over Brazilians Gilbert Durinho, Rodrigo Damm and Elias Silvério.
