Horcher was driving his motorcycle along a road when a Jeep vehicle crossed in front of him. The two collided and the fighter was thrown more than 70 meters. Although local laws do not require motorcyclists to wear a helmet, Horcher used the accessory, leaving the scene with only a fractured arm, torn ankle ligaments and scratches on his body.

The fighter remains in hospital, but is not in any danger. A motorcycle fanatic, Horcher has already expressed his desire to sell his vehicles until he is fully recovered.

Horcher made his UFC debut unexpectedly in April, when he was hastily called up to face Khabib Nurmagomedov at an event in Tampa (USA). On that occasion, he was defeated by technical knockout in the second round. Now, he will only return to fighting at the beginning of 2017.
