The Ultimate organization announced that Miocic will fight at home, in the city of Cleveland (USA), against alistair overeem at UFC 203 in September.

Miocic, 33, has a 15-XNUMX record and has won his last three fights – including a first-round knockout of Fabricio Werdum in Curitiba (PR). The first champion of a major sports league to leave Cleveland, the American of Croatian descent was widely celebrated upon his arrival in Ohio.

Overeem, 36 years old, has a record of 41 wins, 14 losses and one “No Contest”.
