With a full house at the Hotel Fiesta, in Salvador, the WFE Platinum recently ended, an event that marked the return to MMA of Chinzo Machida. The organization crowned Jorjão Rodrigues as champion in the up to 70 kilos category, and Bruno Carioca maintained his unbeaten record and his title in the up to 84 kilos category. The show was attended by former UFC heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida, and fellow UFC fighter Carlos Eduardo “Tá Danado”, in addition to live coverage on the Combate channel.
Bruno Carioca beats Daniel Acácio and remains champion
In the main event of the night, Bruno Carioca and Daniel Acácio put on a show and did not disappoint. In the first round, the Zé Mario Team athlete, Bruno Carioca, made Acácio fall to the ground after a good sequence of punches. In the second round, the one who suffered was Bruno Carioca, who was close to being knocked out after suffering a knockdown and being punished on the ground. Chinzo Machida is defeated by Leonardo Laiola on his return to MMA

Dressed as Superman, Parrudo made a memorable entrance to the Hotel Fiesta, with two girls dressed as Wonder Woman. But Superman's strength seems to have remained outside the octagon. Inside Parrudo only did well in the first round, when he landed better blows and tried to fight on the ground, but without success. In the second round, Jorjão dominated the center and was more forceful, delivering strong blows to Erick Parrudo. Between the 2nd and 3rd rounds, Parrudo did not return to the fight due to a cracked rib. Jorjão Rodrigues won by technical knockout.
Ednaldo Lula beats Jerônimo Mondragon in the first round
Mondragon, visibly stronger physically, began the fight at full steam. He applied the takedown, worked from half guard, but without much effectiveness. With the fight back on the feet, Mondragon applied another takedown and narrowly missed being finished with an armbar. Mondragon remained on top and headbutted Ednaldo Lula, losing a point, signaled by referee Carlão Barreto. At the end of the round Mondragon started to show fatigue, he was taken down by Ednaldo Lula, who mounted and punished him harshly. After the gong rang, it seemed that Mondragon had been saved by him. Mere mistake. Jerônimo, still, did not return for the second round and Ednaldo Lula was declared the winner. At the end of the fight, Ednaldo Lula asked for a fight against Edson Conterrâneo.
