You definitely never know what to expect from Jason Miller. The controversial former UFC fighter, who has been arrested several times and is now involved in trouble, this time caused a real commotion at the weigh-in at the Venator FC event, this Friday (20), in Milan (Italy). When he arrived at the scale, Miller simply appeared an incredible 11kg above the limit for the middleweight category (up to 84kg).

Very understanding, former TUF participant Luke Barnatt, Mayhem's rival in the middleweight title fight, even accepted a new opponent for the confrontation, freeing Mayhem to have another fight on the card in the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg) . Still, Jason would need to cut about 3 kg.

After much negotiation behind the scenes, Miller was cut from the title fight and, after weighing 93 kg, will face Mattia Schivalion on this Saturday's card (21). Luke Barnatt will fight for the middleweight title against Stefan Croitoru in the main fight of the night.

Venator FC 3 will also feature the presence of a Brazilian representative, former UFC and WSOF Rousimar Palhares, known as “Toquinho”. The jiu-jitsu specialist, who will face Emil Meek, weighed 76,6 kg, around 400g below the limit for the welterweight category (up to 77 kg).
