It is more than common practice in MMA for athletes to weigh themselves naked and with the help of a towel to cover their private parts if they are very close to the maximum weight for their categories. However, the lack of experience of the promoters of Venator FC, an Italian event that is only taking place in its third edition, ended up causing a major faux pas in this very common action.

During the weigh-in of former PRIDE and UFC fighter Rameau Sokoudjou, who needed the “help” of a towel to make weight, the president of Venator FC ended up getting excited about the fact that the Cameroonian reached the weight limit on his second attempt and removed the towel too soon, leaving Sokoudjou completely naked on stage.
